A leading medical communications agency, equally passionate about improving patient wellbeing as they are their fantastic team of industry specialists, are excited to grow a new department of theirs and as such, are looking to connect with an enthused Account Director.

The Medical Communications Agency:

This is certainly an agency to be reckoned with – they have established a global reach in the market whilst maintaining an ability to be flexible with industry changes. Being built from cohesive partnerships across a range of specialist sectors gives the agency the ability to approach opportunities from fresh perspectives, creating solutions and innovations for market access and medical communications that are informed by the experience and knowledge of the many. Having derived excellent success over the last 18 months as a fully remote agency, the team are flexible with the professionals they connect with across the East Coast.

Account Director:

As the new department’s Account Director, you will be responsible for team leadership, business development, troubleshooting and collaborating with senior leadership to assist with guiding strategy – this is certainly a role that is both exciting and multifaceted. The ideal candidate will be exceptionally proactive and responsive, comfortable with assessing scientific content, highly capable in leading teams, and accomplished in developing and managing new business proposals

Account Director – Essential Experience:

  • BA or BS in marketing, communications, biology, life sciences, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a medical communications agency setting.
  • A confident team lead and mentor, exceptional when spurring team success.
  • Previous experience leading new business opportunities with proven business development results – ideally in Learning & Development and adult learning theories.
  • A flexible, proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple and sometimes competing challenges, issues, and priorities with the ability to delegate, problem-solve, and set clear expectations.
  • Ambitious, self-starter, passionate about creating new successes.
