An exciting Scientific Communications agency based in NJ are looking for a Brand Strategist to join the team remotely, on a permanent basis.

The Scientific Communications Agency:

The agency are leading the scientific communications market, spearheading scientific content marketing campaigns for bio-pharmaceutical products in the specialty and rare disease therapeutic areas. Founded 20 years ago on the East Coast, the team have consistently worked hard to create content marketing platforms that work to translate discoveries into industry standards, partnering with clients at all stages of a product’s life cycle, from pre-launch through post-launch. They are ever-growing and passionate about the culture they continue to build daily; an agency that pride’s its work-life balance as much as it does the impact they make in the market through medical education and scientific communication.

Brand Strategist:

Responsible for developing strategic plans/messaging for accounts that include creative solutions to current needs, participating in new business presentations and managing accounts with an oversight of scientific narratives, message development, strategic and tactical business plans, this is a pivotal hire for the team. Further elements of the role will include initiating and maintaining relationships with thought leaders to assess their views on changing trends, participating in capabilities presentations for potential new clients as well as collaborating with client/product marketing teams to establish regular needs assessments – analysing target audience, marketing strategies brand and life cycle planning.

Brand Strategist – Essential Experience:

  • 5+ years of medical communications experience (agency setting)
  • Strategic/Marketing experience
  • Strong communication skills and client interaction ability
  • Ability to blend science and marketing 
  • Ideally, already a year of experience in a strategy focused role.
