An ever-growing CME agency based on the East Coast is on the hunt for an experienced Business Development Lead to join their ambitious team on a permanent basis.

Business Development Lead:

As the BD Lead you will be responsible for supporting corporate growth strategies as well as representing, contributing and furthering the agency’s reputation as one of the industry leaders. As such, you will be tasked with staying alert of changing market trends and pharmaceutical company movement in order to seek new funding opportunities, whilst also scheduling business development calls, preparing capability presentations, and working hard to build long term relationships with supporters and other partnering organizations. In collaboration with the Medical Directors and the rest of the business development team, as the BD Lead you will assist in the compilation of grant requests that meet or exceed client expectations and company profitability goals.

Business Development Lead – Essential Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 4+ years of experience in a healthcare/pharmaceutical agency setting, focussed in Business Development.
  • An ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Confident developing comprehensive short and long-term sales and marketing plans for various therapeutic areas to support sales and revenue objectives of the CME agency.
  • Excellent when establishing and maintaining relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners.
  • Strong history of using exceptional negotiation skills to close new deals for agencies – in turn, an impeccable communicator both written and verbal.
