A well-regarded and respected Life Sciences Consultancy are building a global market access function, and are looking for a dynamic leader to head it up. With offices across the world, this firm are established within the life sciences market but are now looking to bolster their specialist market access, pricing and reimbursement function, becoming a market leader within this area.

My client are looking to find the right individual to build their Market Access clientele from the ground up, and eventually expand and lead this area of the business with a team. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone with experience across Market Access, HEOR and Pricing with a particular focus on business development and strategy.

The business have been informally working within Market Access and Pricing for some time now, with consultants specialising in pricing and reimbursement, but they are wanting to take the next step and build a dedicated team. They want an individual to enable the business to grow and reach it’s wider potential within the Life Sciences market. This is truly a unique and special opportunity and will be a career-defining move for a market access professional.

Market Access Practice Director Role:

  • Identify, source and engage directly with clients across the European Markets in order to secure business opportunities.
  • Apply expertise in various therapeutic areas to successfully lead on, deliver and develop projects and strategy.
  • Build a team of consultants across Europe to line manage and support their development.
  • Ensure high quality delivery of Market Access projects that effectively align with client requirements.
  • Work collaboratively within the team to support all areas of the business where necessary.

Market Access Practice Director Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree within Life Sciences or Business (or related field).
  • Demonstrated ability within Market access, HEOR and Pricing & Reimbursement.
  • Understanding of the European markets and healthcare systems.
  • Ability to grow capabilities either in-house or within a consultancy.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Line management experience.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and spoken.
