A Global Pharmaceutical Services Company are looking for an experienced Medical Science Liaison to join their UK team.


The Company


This Pharmaceutical Services Company are a global organisation that uniquely operate across all three stages of the drug lifecycle. Currently experiencing a period of growth, this is a fantastic opportunity for a MSL to build scientific partnerships with HCPs and decision makers through evidence and non-promotional materials, whilst joining a global company that offers training, career development and an excellent remuneration package.

This is a remote role based in the UK, with some international travel once travel restrictions ease.

Medical Science Liaison Role:


As the first in-house MSL you will be part of the Commercial Division, where your primary goal will be to develop long term professional relationships, build advocacy with and gain contributions from regional, national and international Medical Experts (ME), Health Care Professional (HCPs) and decision makers.

  • Contributes to mapping / profiling of MEs/decision makers in line with Business Unit / CPO strategies
  • Provide medical support as part of a cross-functional team to relevant clinical trials
  • Support value scientific projects according to corporate global strategies, including registries, epidemiology projects, HEOR, preclinical of translational research, etc
  • Identify potential research opportunities that are consistent with product development strategies and facilitate investigator-initiated trials and MTA support as appropriate
  • Provide scientific information to HCP on specific business critical issues that are medically relevant

Medical Science Liaison Requirements:


  • Educated to MD, PharmD, pharmacist, PHD and other life sciences or equivalen
  • At least 3 years of experience working as a MSL
  • Knowledge of oncology clinical medicine, disease management, and medical research in at least one therapeutic area (Haematology and Oncology preferred)
  • Basic knowledge of the Healthcare System and of the research procedures as well as the ICH guidelines, GCP and other ethical guidelines relevant to the pharmaceutical industry
